meshTheory will be at menswear event....
Introducing 8 outfits for the runway......
Siren Productions, AVENUE, KMADD, Seraphim.com and Secondnights.com welcome you to Menswear Fashion Week 2013! We are back for a fabulous third year! Coming to you in our exciting 4th year! We are working hard to bring you a new improved and better Menswear Fashion Week 2013. This years MWFW 2013 is putting the fashion pedal to the model and bringing you the Future of Fashion.
We are bringing you the brightest and best of Mens Fashion in Second Life! We are so proud to have so many wonderful designers back with us this year including Faster Pussycat-Velvet Elvis, Gizza Creations, Gabriel, Dura, Belleza, Shiki, Mea Culpa, Razorblade Jacket, and Redgrave. Each year we welcome so many brand new designers to the MWFW 2013 family including EVOLVE, -Countdown-, Mesh Theory, Zibska, Epicosity, and Cashmere & Keane. We cover everything from hair and skins right down to shoes and accessories!
There are many exciting shows planned for the entire week of events. By popular demand we are bringing back the KMADD Underwear Show, a MWFW tradition. Another show back by popular demand the ladies will be rocking out in menswear and menswear styling! Of course we will be blasting off to the fashion future in Space Odyssey 3010. That is just a few of the many tricks we have up our sleeves!
The SET team from Boystown is back again this year to help with our parties and we are so happy to have them on board! They will be wrapping up the week with our closing party...while ICON/Too Sexy will be kicking off the week with a special opening party on the evening of the 19th. If that is not enough there will be tons of new sensational clothing for the fashionable man about Second Life! Each and every designer is debuting fabulous new releases at the event! Some are even debuting entirely new collections. This will be the first place to see them and purchase them! Get them while they are hot and fresh!

Even, it seems, meshTheory cannot live by fast and furious urbanity alone. Juliet and Larissa dubbed their “spring 2013 dress collection” a paean to those quiet, reflective moments that strike even the great dirty heaving metropolis that is the world of Secondlife, when dawn casts a gradually warming glow over the sims and gently tugs it away at the end of the day, only to repeat the whole process all over again twelve or so hours later. (Given that the models were, to a woman, sporting vermilion eye shadow, perhaps they’re coming into Secondlife New York Sim off the red-eye from real life.) Anyway, this was essentially meshTheory romantic and wistful vision of the isle of SL Manhattan, one unabashedly played out in the clothes: Empire-line dresses that spun away from the body with spiral-cut skies; each dress cut on the bias to cleave to the body, somewhat Asiatic in feeling, and denuded of any visible fastenings;, not unlike the way the Hudson River glistens in the morning. (To fully take in this poetic experience, I am not saying you won’t have to screw up your eyes a little, thus diminishing the sight of the police boats scudding by at all hours of the day and night.)
